We’re thrilled to introduce ourselves and welcome you to our new practice this January 2025!

Dr. Jenna Lavin, originally from South Jersey, and her husband, Shane, are excited to bring family-friendly, patient-focused care to Venice and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Lavin earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience, with a minor in Public Health, from Muhlenberg College. She went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, where she met Shane while pursuing her studies. Shane, a South Jersey native as well, holds degrees in Environmental Science and Occupational Health and Safety from Millersville University in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Lavin’s experience includes being selected as a National Health Service Corps Scholar, which led to her time serving as a public health dentist in Southwest Florida. During those years, she worked with patients of all ages, including children and teenagers in foster care, many of whom faced significant financial challenges. Her passion for working with kids and creating a fun, positive dental experience sets her apart and makes Lavin Family Dental a welcoming home for your whole family’s smiles.

Shane will serve as the office manager, bringing his organizational expertise and warm personality to ensure every patient feels like part of the Lavin Family Dental community.

As a family-owned, private practice, we take pride in being able to spend time with our patients, truly listen to their needs, and focus on patient education. Our goal is to build lasting relationships with our neighbors in the Venice area and provide dental care that feels personal, not rushed.
